Belgium’s Betcenter Futsal League has recruited STATSCORE for data and sports statistics collection, carried out by the firm’s scouts.

The sports data tech company will collect and distribute key sports data and statistics, made available across the TeamCenter and League Center platforms, and subsequently featured on the websites of both the leagues and clubs.

“Working with STATSCORE helps us to further develop Belgian Futsal,” remarked Manu Leroy, Marketing Director, Royal Belgian Football Association.

“Fans will be able to see statistics of our national competition’s players in real time. We hope that the increased interest in futsal will also result in more futsal players, both boys and girls, in Belgium.”

Through the partnership the BetCenter Futsal League will use TeamCenter and LeagueCenter display data relating to live statistics, standings, squads and pre-match comparisons, as well as a range of event animations.

STATSCORE has bolstered its portfolio of data partners as a result of the deal, building on existing agreements with Poland’s top-flight Ekstraliga and second division 2. Liga and the Polish Volleyball Federation (PVF).

Tomasz Myalski, CEO of STATSCORE, commented: “I am proud that another professional futsal league trusted STATSCORE and chose us as their official data provider. The partnership with our Belgian friends makes another step in our expansion as the key data collecting company for this exciting discipline.

“We are convinced that with that our sports stats and great visualisations will help to satisfy the current fans of Betcenter Futsal League and gain new ones.”
