Schalke 04 has strengthened its relationship with construction and project management company Harfid by announcing that the firm will be the Bundesliga side’s premium partner and sleeve sponsor.

Harfid had previously been the sleeve sponsor for Schalke’s 2019/20 DFB-Pokal campaign, however, under the new agreement the sleeve sponsorship the firm will also be present in Bundesliga matches as well. 

Alexander Jobst, head of marketing and communication at Schalke, stated: “It’s a great sign of mutual appreciation when a partnership develops like the one between Schalke 04 and Harfid. It underlines our joint successful strategy of self-marketing. We are looking forward to the upcoming years with Harfid as our new premium partner.”

As part of the expanded deal, the entities’ existing deal was also extended until 30th June 2025. Additionally, Harfid will have exclusive marketing rights inside the VELTINS-Arena alongside advertising opportunities with players and club officials. The club has also revealed that Harfid will replace Deutsche Post as a premium sponsor for next season. 

Harfid Hadrovic, CEO of Harfid added: “We began sponsoring Schalke in 2018 because we were convinced by what we saw, and we expanded our partnership with them in 2019 for the same reason. We are very pleased with what we at Harfid have achieved through our partnership with Schalke 04. That’s why we are further expanding our partnership, and are looking forward to being prominently displayed on the shirt sleeves. 

“In the midst of these trying times, which have also had an impact on our company, it’s important to stick together and to continue working towards a successful future.”

Insider Insight: Schalke and Harfid’s partnership is a testament to highlighting how much brand loyalty pays off, after sponsoring the side in 2018 the two firms have continually strengthened their relationship which will benefit both sides in the long run.
