Olympique Marseille has extended its partnership with Française des Jeux (FDJ) meaning that its sports betting brand ParionsSport will continue as a premier partner until 2022.
As part of the extension ParionsSport’s logo will be featured on the right shoulder of the Ligue 1 side’s kit. The logo will be present for Marseille’s upcoming friendlies as well as for all the club’s league matches.
Jacques Henri-Eyraud, President of Olympique de Marseille, stated: “We are very happy to renew and intensify our collaboration with FDJ via its ParionsSport brand, whose logo will now be present on the Olympique de Marseille jersey.
“This extension and strengthening of our partnership is a strong sign in the current economic context, a guarantee of the quality of the relationship that we have been able to build over the past 2 years.”
The extension will see ParionsSport’s branding continue to gain visibility at the Orange Vélodrome, the Robert Louis-Dreyfus Training Center and on the club’s communication networks.
Additionally, both FDJ and Olympique Marseille have highlighted that the deal is set to ‘intensify an action program bringing them together around shared values’.
Stéphane Pallez, CEO of the FDJ group, said: “I am delighted that our commitment to Olympique de Marseille, one of the leading clubs in French and European football, will continue for the next two seasons. FDJ has long been involved in the world of sport and with its players. It is also a great opportunity for ParionsSport, our sports betting brand, to meet a large audience of enthusiasts.”
Following the competition’s premature conclusion last season, Ligue 1 will kick-off on August 21 with Marseille facing Saint-Étienne in the first match-up of the new campaign.
