TD Bank Group has become the new official home jersey partner of the Vancouver Canucks, in a deal brokered by Canucks Sports & Entertainment.

The banking firm’s logo will be adorned on Canucks home kits worn at Rogers Arena this season, beginning with this Saturday’s opening night, presented by TD.

“We are extremely proud to have TD as our new home jersey partner this season,” commented Michael Doyle, President, Canucks Sports & Entertainment, Business Operations.

“This new chapter in our sponsorship further solidifies the significant relationship between our two great brands.

“When considering our jersey partner, it was important to us that we team up with an organisation that shares our values and is invested in the community. This marks an exciting time in the sponsorship between Canucks Sports & Entertainment and TD.”

CSE and TD Bank Group have held a relationship since September 2018, with TD also being the presenting sponsor of signature Canucks events and initiatives.

Such sponsorships include Canucks for Kids Telethon, the Vancouver Canucks Alumni Association, and several community and theme nights, including Home Opener on 22 October vs the Buffalo Sabres.

“We’re so proud to extend our relationship with the Vancouver Canucks and have the TD Shield as the team’s first home jersey patch,” added Julie Armour, Senior Vice President – Pacific Region, TD Bank Group.

“The Canucks have been fantastic to work with over the past four years, sharing our commitment to enrich communities and work together for a more inclusive tomorrow through our various programs and activations.

“As we enter this exciting new phase of our sponsorship, we look forward to continuing our engagement with fans and enhancing their experience.”

Furthermore, the green TD logo will also be incorporated into the Canucks’ game uniform, displayed as a standardised patch on the upper right chest area of Vancouver’s kit for all home games.
