Juventus has announced that technology and betting company Parimatch is the club’s latest partner as the Serie A champions prepare for the upcoming campaign.
As a result of the deal Parimatch has become Juventus’ official betting partner for the 2020/21 season with both entities expected to collaborate throughout the deal to create ‘unparalleled entertainment experiences that resonate and inspire’.
Juventus and Parimatch will host a virtual press conference in October to discuss exact details of its partnership however the betting company’s CEO Sergey Portnov has already expressed his excitement regarding the deal.
Portnov commented: “Both Parimatch and Juventus have ambitions to be the ultimate champions in our respective games, providing great entertainment to millions of fans the world over. I look forward to telling you more alongside Giorgio Ricci from Juventus and perhaps a special guest or two, during our virtual press conference in October.”
According to Juventus’ chief revenue officer, Giorgio Ricci, Parimatch will gain a brand presence on TV broadcasts abroad due to a new digital overlay that has been fitted to the Allianz Stadium LED system, with this operation starting from the sides first match against Sampdoria on Sunday September 20.
Ricci added: “We are pleased to announce the partnership with Parimatch, a partner with whom we share the constant search for new technological solutions.
“We will work together globally, but exclusively outside Italy and South East Asia, supporting the partner’s international growth path by leveraging the mutual desire to address an increasingly broad audience.”
The deal presents a major milestone for Parimatch with the partnership allowing the betting company to develop and grow its international portfolio thanks to Juventus’ worldwide appeal. In addition, the agreement follows on from Parimatch’s news that it has become Leicester City’s official training wear sponsor for the 2020/21 Premier League season.
As a result of the deal, Parimatch’s logo will be featured on the front of Leicester’s training shirts, whilst the Cyprus-based betting will become the club’s official betting partner.
