National Basketball Association (NBA) outfit Philadelphia 76ers has revealed BetMGM as an Official Betting Partner, shortly after the mobile sportsbook and casino app’s debut in Pennsylvania.

The partnership will see BetMGM feature across all of the team’s digital and social media platforms including the official 76ers app, and the firm is also planning on launching a range of 76ers branded casino games.

In addition, the betting operator will have prominent signing during nationally televised 76ers games, including the BetMGM logo on the pole pads beneath the baskets.

“Our recent launch in Pennsylvania has been incredibly successful and this partnership is an exciting opportunity for BetMGM to offer 76ers fans unique ways to engage with their favorite basketball team.”

Outside the basketball courts, the MGM Resorts’ Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey is set to be named as an “Official Away Game Host of the Philadelphia 76ers.”

The venue will host on site events when safe to do so, most notably a co-branded Season Ticket and VIP event in the future featuring casino games, guest appearances by iconic 76ers players, signed memorabilia raffles and other exclusive prizes.

BetMGM was formed out of a partnership between MGM Resorts International and Entain Plc, offering sports betting and online gaming products.

The Philadelphia 76ers will play its first match of the 2020/21 season on 23 December against the Washington Wizards.

This late start in the year is due to the NBA’s COVID-19 prevention measures, which has also seen the season reduced to 72 games.
