SBK, the sportsbook app powered by Smarkets, has strengthened its commitment to horse racing after securing brand ambassador deals with Jockeys Nicola Currie and Sean Levey.
Currie most recently won the coveted Silver Saddle trophy at the Shergar Cup meanwhile Levey is a multiple Group 1 winner who steered Snow Lantern to victory in this year’s Tattersalls Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket.
As part of the agreement, both Currie and Levey will wear SBK-branded riding gear and produce exclusive content for the sportsbook.
Levey, who has signed his partnership with SBK for two years, commented: “I am thrilled to commit to SBK for the next two years. I’m fortunate to ride some brilliant horses for Richard Hannon and hope to continue having plenty of winners moving forward, now in my new SBK breeches. SBK is an exciting brand and I look forward to working with them.”
Both jockeys will join multiple title-winning jockey Richard Kingscote in the SBK stable, who recently agreed to partner with SBK until October 2022.
Currie’s agreement is initially expected to run until the end of the 2022 Flat Season. She added: “I’m delighted to be sponsored by SBK up until the end of the 2022 season and can’t wait to work with them on some entertaining content for social media.
“I’m very grateful for the support; SBK are clearly one to watch in the betting space with their unique focus on providing industry-leading odds.”
