SBK has entered into an agreement with the Arena Racing Company (ARC), securing the title sponsorship of the Lincoln Handicap race.

The sportsbook app, powered by the Smarkets betting exchange, has gained greater exposure in UK horse racing via the deal, building on a range of prior agreements.

Notably, SBK has secured sponsorship of the Grade One SBK Clarence House Chase at Ascot Racecourse, whilst also partnering with trainer Geroge Boughey and flat jockeys Sean Levey, Nicola Currie and Richard Kingscote.

“We are thrilled to be sponsoring the Lincoln as part of SBK’s growing horse racing sponsorship portfolio,” remarked Adam Baylis, Head of Customer Marketing at SBK.

“The heritage handicap holds a special place in the racing calendar as the first major race of the British Flat season and we look forward to being part of its rich history.”

Taking place at Doncaster Racecourse on 26 and 27 March 2022, the Lincoln meeting will feature ‘extensive SBK branding’ across the racing venue as a result of sportsbook’s deal with the ARC.

In addition, SBK will host a flat season preview prior to the commencement of racing at Doncaster on the first day of the meeting, including insights from special guests and exclusive promotional guest offers.

“We are delighted to welcome SBK to Doncaster Racecourse and the Lincoln Handicap,” added David Leyden Dunbar, Group Director of Commercial Strategy & Partnerships at ARC.

“The race is a hugely important part of the programme at Doncaster as the British summer flat season officially gets underway, and SBK will be an excellent partner for the meeting.”
