Manufacturing company Premier Tech has announced a partnership with the Cycling Academy, as the Israel Start-Up Nation is renamed to Israel – Premier Tech.
The four year co-title sponsorship sees Premier Tech support the development of Canadian and international professional cycling.
Sylvan Adams, Team Owner, commented: “This team is where Canada is most represented, with five of the six Canadians riders competing in the World Tour. We couldn’t think of a better fit than Premier Tech – an international Canadian-based company for our co-title sponsor.
“I am proud that Jean Bélanger and I are taking this common passion for cycling toward new heights.”
Furthermore, Israel – Premier Tech has stated that it set ‘ambitious goals’ for its initial season, and looks to move forward building on that success after reaching tenth in the global rank of the World Tour after two seasons.
The collaboration also sees the company aid young Canadian cyclists in their ambitions for a professional career, as it joins forces with riders Hugo Houle and Jakob Fuglsang, and Steve Bauer as Sports Director.

From the moment I started conversations with Sylvan Adams, whom I have known for years, it was clear we saw things in a common and shared vision,” added Jean Bélanger, President and Chief Executive Officer at Premier Tech.
“Through the course of our discussions, that feeling just got reinforced and led us to make this announcement today.”
For this year, some of the Israel Cycling Academy riders have been revealed as Yuval Ben Moshe, Derek Gee, Alastair Mackellar and Roy Weinberg, to name a few.
