Minnesota Wild has announced a partnership with with HealthPartners, TRIA Orthopedics and Regions Hospital that includes a team jersey sponsorship

The TRIA logo is set to appear on all game day jerseys for Wild, with the franchise  and HealthPartners sharing a 22-year history that dates back to the team’s inception into the NHL.

“We are very excited to announce our jersey patch partnership with TRIA Orthopedics,” commented Wild President, Matt Majka

“We share a love for the great State of Hockey and are dedicated to breaking down barriers and providing broader access to the sport. HealthPartners has been a tremendous partner of our organisation since our first season and we are thrilled with this opportunity to expand our partnership.”

In 2019, Regions Hospital and TRIA joined the Minnesota Wild in support of its diversity and inclusion program, Hockey is for Everyone.

TRIA has also supported DinoMights – an urban youth hockey league that introduces children to the game and works with them off the ice through long-term mentoring.

On the new deal, Dr. Joel Boyd, a TRIA orthopaedic surgeon, said: “I’ve had the privilege to work with the Wild since day one, and I’ve gotten to care for some incredible athletes.

“I remember when the Wild drafted Mikko Koivu and he was literally a kid – and I watched him go on to become the captain and become the first player in franchise history to have his number retired. It’s amazing to be there for their careers.”

Additionally, HealthPartners will partner with the Minnesota Wild Foundation in recognizing communities with special game nights dedicated to Black History Month and Pride Night, as well as Hockey Fights Cancer.

“We know how much the Minnesota Wild means to Saint Paul and to the State of Minnesota, and we’re excited to expand our partnership with the team,” concluded Andrea Walsh, HealthPartners President and CEO.

“We’re looking forward to continuing to provide exceptional care to the players and fans and broadening our collaboration in the community.”
