Qatar Sports Investments has announced that it is acquiring a share in Portugese football club, SC Braga.

The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)-ownership group will gain 21.67% share capital of the Primeira Liga team, whilst closing of the acquisition of the shares will take place in the next few months, subject to certain closing conditions.

SC Braga highlighted its ‘proud history and heritage’ in Portugal, with its men’s and women’s team competing in the top tier of Portuguese football.
