SC Freiburg of the Bundesliga is expanding its relationship with JobRad in an agreement that will see the bike leasing company become the club’s new main kit sponsor.

From the 2023/24 season, the firm will also be named the kit sponsor of the team and will subsequently become their biggest partner, consequently receiving a ‘comprehensive’ advertising, hospitality and communication package.

Additionally, JobRad will also be the shirt sponsor of the Freiburg U23s, as well as the sleeve sponsor of the SC Freiburg women, whilst also remaining as the mobility partner of the club.

Board Member at the club, Oliver Leki, said: “We are delighted that we have been able to acquire such an attractive and high-performing main sponsor in JobRad.

“JobRad is also an excellent fit for SC Freiburg, with its commitment to sustainable mobility, its roots in the cycling city of Freiburg, its value framework and its attractive appearance.”

Together with the first team, the women’s team and the Freiburg Football School, various projects have been planned around bicycles, e-bikes, sustainable transport and service bike leasing.

“Over the last six months, as SC Freiburg’s exclusive mobility partner, we have gained a sense of how well we fit together in our cooperation,” highlighted JobRad’s Managing Director, Florian Baur.

“It is no coincidence that SCF are considered one of the most sustainable professional football clubs in the world and similarly to JobRad, they are in a real phase of growth. It was therefore an easy decision to commit to becoming the club’s new main sponsor and kit sponsor.

“In SC Freiburg, we have a partner that shares our core values and has an equally strong sense of the importance of sustainability.”
