The Washington Capitals and Hyundai Motor America have linked to form an automotive partnership.

During the NHL team’s games, the automaker’s branding will be visible on various LED signage in the arena bowl and on ‘premium and general digital network signage’ throughout the stadium – Capital One Arena

Monumental Sports & Entertainment Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships, Patrick Duffy, said: “We are extremely proud to welcome Hyundai – one of the leading automotive retailers – to our family of partners at Washington Capitals and Monumental Sports & Entertainment.

“We are confident this partnership will provide Hyundai unparalleled exposure. We look forward to showcasing the Hyundai brand to Caps fans throughout the season across all our sports, media and entertainment properties.

Furthermore, Hyundai advertisements will be broadcast on the Arena Television Network, as the brand will be featured on outdoor digital advertising around the team’s home.

Hyundai will also serve as the presenting sponsor of ‘Keys to the Game’, which airs during home games as part of the Capitals pre-game in-arena show. All Hyundai branding was sponsored by the local Washington Area Hyundai dealers.

The team currently sits fourth in the Metropolitan division, and last night beat Columbus Blue Jackets 4 – 3 at Nationwide Arena.
