Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has signed a three-year partnership with Swiss watchmaking company, Purnell.

The company will become the official timekeeper of the Ligue 1 club and, from March onwards, the pair will offer regular releases of limited-edition watches.

Marc Armstrong, Chief Revenue Officer at PSG, commented: “With Purnell, Paris Saint-Germain is enriching its family of partners with an innovative, premium partner that pays great attention to excellence.

“This partnership shows just how attractive Paris Saint-Germain has become to many of the world’s most highly specialised companies. We are delighted to be working with Purnell to bring this exciting collaboration to life over the next three years.”

In becoming an official partner of the French top-flight side, the watchmaker will gain branding opportunities throughout the Parc des Princes stadium, with a main aim of promoting the company’s ‘More future than Past’ slogan.

Maurizio Mazzocchi, CEO of Purnell, asserted: “Who could better represent Paris – one of the world’s greatest cities, a pioneer of style and elegance – than Paris Saint-Germain? This emblematic football club perfectly embodies these universal values.

“I am honoured that Purnell has been chosen to incarnate these values with the club. I hope that the Paris Saint-Germain collections of watches, which will be unveiled from March 2023, will arouse intense emotions for Paris Saint-Germain fans worldwide.”
