NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo has become online gambling company Betano’s first-ever global brand ambassador.

Antetokounmpo – who is a two-time NBA MVP and 2021 NBA Champion – joins the online operator in a partnership that will include branded content, events and community outreach work throughout the Betano markets. 

Antetokounmpo remarked: “I take my endorsements seriously and always aim for partnerships that mean something to me.

“In Betano I have found a great fit, not only in our shared passion for sports but also in our drive and dedication for continuous improvement.”

The Milwaukee Bucks player – otherwise known as The Greek Freak – and Kaizen Gaming, Betano’s parent company, share a common Greek ‘heritage’. Kaizen is currently active in 12 countries throughout Europe, Latin and North America.  

George Daskalakis, Co-Founder and CEO, Kaizen Gaming, added: “We could not have asked for a better global brand ambassador for our brand Betano.”

This month Betano also expanded its partnership with the Romanian Sports Motor Federation for the National Rally Championship. In 2023, the Romanian motorsport competition will now be named the Betano National Rally Championship (CNRB).
