Bundesliga side FC Union Berlin has confirmed a lucrative new front-of-shirt sponsorship with digital video streaming service Paramount+.

As a result of the deal, the Paramount+ logo will be featured on the front of the Union Berlin shirts for the upcoming season.

The deal comes as the club prepares for its debut in the UEFA Champions League after a top-four finish in last year’s Bundesliga campaign. 

Jan Boysen, Managing Director Marketing and Sales of 1 FC Union Berlin, commented on the deal: “With Paramount+ we were able to win a renowned international partner for us as we continue our successful path of the last few years.

“We are very much looking forward to the cooperation and of course to featuring the iconic logo on our new jerseys.”In addition, Paramount+, the digital subscription video streaming service from Paramount, will be featured on the advertising boards at the An der Alten Försterei stadium and on Union’s digital channels.
