Polish football team Wisła Kraków has named sportsbook Superbet as its official bookmaker and will appear on the back of its first team’s kit.
Hailed as a record deal for the Ekstraklasa club, the Polish bookmaker said that the agreement, signed until 2027, will have an ‘unconventional’ and ‘pro-fan’ approach to sponsorship.
The value of the deal is expected to exceed the revenue of the main sponsor that started from the 2018/2019 league season.
Club President Jarosław Królewski, stated: “We are glad that Superbet will join the group of Sponsors of the White Star. This is great support and motivation for us to continue working.
“Thanks to the cooperation, we can set ourselves even more ambitious sports and development goals. In particular, I am very pleased with the fact that the Wisła business has gained a Sponsor with such a talented team of young people. Together it will be great.”
The Superbet Group-owned operator also shared that by registering an account with the bookmaker with the code JAZDA, fans will be able to support the club’s academy.
Superbet Polska General Manager, Łukasz Seweryniak, added: “The role of the official sponsor of a club such as Wisła Kraków is a great pride and responsibility for us. In terms of the strength of the community or position in Polish football, the White Star is undoubtedly one of the largest clubs in our country.
“We treat this cooperation as one of the key ones for our brand and we look at it in the long term, hence the decision to conclude an agreement valid at least until 2027.
“We have no doubt that today we are becoming the sponsor of one of the most important clubs for our football and we also have no doubt that the club will soon return to its rightful place. We want to be part of this path and together with the fans write a new, great history of the Wisła Kraków brand.”
