Queensbury Promotions has changed its primary media partner amid a resurgence for the boxing promotion, which is partnering with DAZN.

The OTT sports streaming platform has an extensive roster of boxing partners, and in some markets like the UK is most widely known for its boxing proposition.

DAZN will begin streaming Queensbury-organised and associated boxing bouts from April 2025 onwards. The London-based outfit takes over from TNT Sports, which counted Queensbury boxing bouts as one of its flagship boxing offerings.

The addition of Queensbury to DAZN further adds to the platform’s already extensive boxing roster, which also includes Matchroom Boxing and Golden Boy Promotions – encompassing a range of world champions between them.

Shay Segev, DAZN Group CEO, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Queensberry Promotions to DAZN as we continue our mission to bring the best sports entertainment to fans worldwide.

“Queensberry’s reputation for delivering elite fighters and thrilling events aligns perfectly with DAZN’s commitment to innovation and growth in the sports media space.

“Together, we’re setting a new standard for boxing entertainment, and we couldn’t be more excited for what the future holds.”

Queensbury’s forthcoming replacement of TNT with DAZN showcases the extent to which the OTT platform has taken over the international boxing scene of late.

The platform has expanded into other areas as well though, notably football, becoming the domestic partner of the French Ligue 1 and the English National League System (NLS).

Meanwhile, Frank Warren’s promotion is also likely looking to further expand its reach and visibility due to the promotions’ re-emergence into prominence in global boxing.

Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom has been dominating the sport for some time, but Queensbury is enjoying another moment in the sun – the promotion’s Daniel Dubois knocked out Matchroom’s Anthony Joshua last month to claim the IBF heavyweight title.

Warren remarked: “I could not be more pleased that Queensberry is joining DAZN. This is a brilliant move for our fighters and, most importantly, for the fans.

“Their ambition and passion for the sport of boxing aligns perfectly with that of our own and we now look forward to putting on the biggest nights possible together.”
