Asian brewer brand Tiger Beer has become the official international beer partner of the Premier League’s Tottenham Hotspur.
Over the course of the multi-year partnership with Spurs, Tiger Beer will look to mark its brand upon the UK football sector by providing a link from Asia to the UK for football fans in both regions.
Tottenham becomes the second Premier League club Tiger Beer has partnered with, following Manchester United’s agreement with the company this year.
Ryan Norys, Chief Revenue Officer of Tottenham Hotspur, said: “It is fantastic to be partnering with another industry-leading brand in Tiger, with the aim of engaging our fans in Asia through unique experiences aimed at bringing people together through the power of football.”
Tiger Beer will also look to complement Spurs’ growing Asian fanbase, which the club has more than 195 million fans in the continent.
Harnessing insights from its recent survey of 2,000 football fans, where almost three in four view fan activities as crucial to uniting supporters of their chosen club, Tiger Beer stated its dedication to delivering fan experiences for Spurs fans. These will include activations, opportunities to watch the team train and exclusive training and coaching experiences.
“At Tiger Beer, we believe that individual courage is rooted in collective support,” added Sean O’Donnell, Global Brand Director of Tiger Beer.
“Our partnerships with iconic clubs like Tottenham Hotspur, embody our belief that progress isn’t a solo act. Together, we celebrate teams and the collective spirit that fuels progress, reminding everyone that we can achieve incredible individual feats when we support one another.”
