Mats Enquist named Solidsport chairman

Mats Enquist, former secretary general of Svensk Elitfotboll, has been appointed chairman of Swedish sports tech company Solidsport.

Enquist led Svensk Elitfotboll from 2012 to 2023, overseeing a period of commercial and digital development for Allsvenskan, Sweden football’s top-flight league, and Superettan. He has also served on the board of European Leagues.

His appointment comes as Solidsport expands its work with sports rights holders across Europe, providing technology for clubs, leagues and federations to manage and distribute their own media content.

Enquist said his experience at Svensk Elitfotboll had included questions around football’s control of rights, customer relationships and digital development.

“In Solidsport, I see a company that has built the technology, expertise and business model to make that possible for more rights holders,” he said.

Solidsport currently streams around 150,000 matches annually and has 2.5 million registered users. The company said it has generated more than €30m back to sport, with around 30 clubs using its platform for UEFA qualifying rounds.

Nathalie Nénon-Zimmermann joins LFP Media

LFP Media has appointed Nathalie Nénon-Zimmermann as director of partnerships, with responsibility for sponsorship, advertising, events and licensing activities in France.

Nénon-Zimmermann has more than 25 years of experience across sports, media and marketing, including senior roles with Sportfive, Kantar Sport, Webedia and Olympique de Marseille.

She started her career at Mars before working on the France 98 FIFA World Cup team as marketing and sponsorship manager. She later founded consulting firms in Paris and London, advising federations, event organisers and rights holders.

At Kantar Sport, she led audience analysis, fan insights and partnership evaluation work for organisations, including FIFA, UEFA, Liverpool FC and Inter Milan.

Nénon-Zimmermann most recently served as managing director of Oxygen Solutions and is secretary general of SporTech for the 2025-26 term.

LFP Media CEO Olivier Bramly said her international experience would be valuable in developing the organisation’s partnership activities.
