Rachael Kennedy

Rachael joined SBC Media as Editor of Insider Sport in April 2025 after a three year stint as Head of Content at Contentive. There she was the Editor of Accountancy Age, The CFO, Global Treasurer and bobsguide. She began her career at Central Banking, rising to the role of Associate editor in 2020. Rachael has a first class BA Classics from the University of Nottingham. She has a keen interest in women’s sports, athletics, F1 and emerging sports. She is also the Editor of SBC’s Insider Sport Publication.

Louis Thompsett

Position: News Editor

Louis joined SBC Media as News Editor for Insider Sport in February 2026. He joins from FinTech Magazine, where he was the Editor for almost three years. No stranger to the iGaming world, Louis began his career as a staff writer at Players Publishing. He has a Master’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Westminster. Louis is interested in covering the world of UK football, racquet sports, and new sporting initiatives.

Callum Williams

Position: Senior Journalist

Callum is Insider Sport’s Senior Journalist, having joined SBC as a Business Journalist in February 2022. Callum graduated from Salford University in 2021 with a degree in BA Multimedia: Journalism,. Since joining Insider Sport, Callum has provided coverage on news and features pertaining to UK football, boxing,  and the NFL. Callum has a keen interest in darts and is a Manchester City supporter.

Kieran joined SBC in January 2024 after graduating from Emerson College, Boston in 2023 with a Master’s degree in Journalism. Previously, Kieran has written for several UK publications such as The Sunday World, Female First, and The Warrington Guardian. Since joining Insider Sport, Kieran has shown a keen interest in covering financial news pertaining to sports teams, as well as news and features surrounding the NBA, the UK football landscape, and people moves within the industry. He is a Manchester United supporter and has a keen interest in European Basketball.

Andrew McCarron

Position: Managing Director

Andrew McCarron started in journalism in 1998. He hasn’t stopped since. After roles at Coinslot International, Coinslot Review & Euroslot Worldwide, he was the first editor of Betting Business when it launched in 2004. Ten years later he joined SBC as MD where he helped launch the Sport Global range of media sites and events.
