Sportradar launches EnduroTV for upcoming racing season

Sportradar has united with ABC Communication, the official promoter of the SuperEnduro and EnduroGP to create EnduroTV, the official streaming service for the sport from season 2019 and beyond.

As part of three year partnership, the Sportradar based EnduroTV platform will provide live streams for all five events of the 2019 SuperEnduro World Championships, with all of the races subsequently being provided as Video on Demand (VOD).

EnduroGP events in 2019 will also be available as VOD. Sportradar will also migrate part of the Enduro back catalogue to the new OTT platform, including all the live, magazine and free content from the 2018 EnduroGP and SuperEnduro season and each magazine show from the 2017 EnduroGP and SuperEnduro season.

This year’s SuperEnduro World Championship starts in a matter of weeks. Consisting of five rounds, it will begin at the home track of six time world Champion Tadeusz Błażusiak in Krakow, Poland on 8 December 2018 and finish around three months later with the Basque GP in the Bizkaia Arena in Bilbao.

Aiming to thrust the event into the forefront of sports, ABC Communication and Sportradar will also work together on the marketing and promotion of the platform to fans, including short form content creation, social media and search marketing, email marketing and other imaging and visual services.

Bastien Blanchard CEO of ABC Communication commented: “Last season, we decided to create our own OTT Channel named EnduroTV. It was an interesting and exciting first year but at the end, we thought we had to make a step forward and improve the fan experience. That’s why the choice of Sportradar was natural for us.

“In 2018 EnduroTV will get its own platform and it will be easy for every fan to watch EnduroGP and SuperEnduro from their different devices. We are really happy to sign a three year deal with Sportradar and we hope this collaboration will bring our Series to another level”.

Rainer Geier, Managing Director OTT for Sportradar added: “We believe that Enduro is a very exciting sport with great growth potential. It is for that reason that we are pleased to have partnered with ABC Communication to create the EnduroTV OTT platform for the EnduroGP and SuperEnduro World Championships.

“We look forward to working together with ABC Communication to further grow the audience for this exciting sport and championship and we are thrilled to offer fans the opportunity to access a wide range of content both live and on-demand.”
