Amazon Prime has confirmed that Leeds United‘s dramatic attempt to gain promotion from the Championship last season, is the subject of its next fly-on-the-wall football documentary.
Titled, Take Us Home, the series gives an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the club’s 2018-19 campaign under head coach, Marcelo Bielsa. With the six part series narrated by Academy Award winner and avid Leeds United fan Russell Crowe.

Produced for Prime Video by Eleven Studios in partnership with The City Talking, the documentery follows the hugely successful ‘Blue Moon Rising’ series, which gave an insight into Manchester City’s successful Premier League campaign under the influence of manager Pep Guardiola.
This series will place a focus on manager, Bielsa, the 63-year-old coach who famously managed the national teams in Argentina and Chile as well as European clubs including Athletic Bilbao, Marseille, Lazio and Lille, had an immediate impact at Leeds United following his announcement in June 2018.
His unique style of play meant that the team, who finished thirteenth in 2017-18, were already top of the Championship midway through the 2018-19 season. The docu-series will cover the highs and lows of the season with exclusive footage of the players and staff behind the scenes, and include moments such as the “spygate” scandal and the controversial uncontested goal in the April 2019 Aston Villa match.
