Active eyewear brand goodr has been announced as an official partner of the 2019 Solheim Cup.

The Official Sunglasses Supplier of the tournament, which takes place at Gleneagles next week, launches eyewear specifically designed for running and cycling, and has chosen The Solheim cup to launch its golf range.

The brand will be exhibiting its range in the Solheim Cup Spectator Village plus running their unique #beaflamingogolfer activation. The brand will benefit from the association with the largest sporting event taking place in Scotland this year and the resulting exposure on a global stage.

Ross Hallett, Senior Vice President at IMG, the Staging Partner of The 2019 Solheim Cup, commented: “We are thrilled to have goodr on board as an Official Supplier. It is a fun brand with a young consumer base, so it fits well with what we’re trying to achieve with The Solheim Cup.”

The American brand has been recognised in major publications, including Runner’s World magazine (Gear of the Year and Recommended Best Buy), GQ (Best Buy), Men’s Journal (Gear of the Year), Women’s Running (Gift Guide) and most recently Top Buyers award winner at the 2019 PGA Fashion Show.
