Bristol City has struck a partnership with online sports betting operator MansionBet which will see the firm become the front-of-shirt sponsor for the EFL Championship side.
Along with MansionBet’s logo being prominent on all adult replica shirts and the first-team, the Mansion Group owned entity will collaborate on a range of activations and promotions to boost fan engagement.
Bristol Sport Group Head of Commercial Caroline Herbert commented: “We are delighted to be in partnership with MansionBet and to welcome them to our Bristol City fan base and Bristol Sport group. With more than a decade of industry experience and a long tradition of sport sponsorship, they bring a huge amount of expertise and creativity to this partnership.
“MansionBet also take an incredibly responsible approach to gambling and have won several awards including Best Customer Service Company of the Year (2020) at the International Gaming Awards and Most Responsible Online Gambling Operator (2018).”
Due to MansionBet being a gambling firm its logo will not appear on youth kits. Moreover, the club has stated that it is ‘dedicated to promoting responsible gambling’ throughout the partnership.
Along with being the Championship club’s front-of-shirt sponsor Bristol City has named MansionBet as the side’s principal partner and the official betting partner to the sporting group.
Dana Bocker, Head of Integrated Marketing at Mansion added: “Sponsorship of a Championship team shows our continued focus and support of the UK market. Bristol City’s proud history within the English league and their growth over the last couple of years makes this an appealing partnership. We’re looking forward to collaborating with the club to engage with fans over the coming season and increasing our awareness locally.”
Manion Group’s latest deal adds to its list of football partnerships, partially in the UK. Since being created in 2018 the firm has sponsored Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace and AFC Bournemouth, as well as being the official betting partners of Manchester City and Newcastle United.
