The Australian National Rugby League (NRL) has chosen EISS Super as its match ball sponsor as part of a three-term deal.
EISS will acquire naming rights to the upcoming New South Wales Regional Series involving five NRL Premiership games held in the New South Wales region.
Furthermore, the company will gain grand visibility on match balls used in the aforementioned Premiership as well as during the All Stars Game, State of Origin Series and during domestic Test Matches.
“As a proudly New South Wales-based industry super fund, more than 50 per cent of our members live and work in regional and rural areas, so it’s no surprise many of our members are avid NRL fans,” said Alexander Hutchinson, Chief Executive of EISS Super.
Earlier this month the league signed new broadcasting agreements with Foxtel, Telstra and Kayo, which saw the latter inherit the coverage to the tournament, as well as to the popular Australian Football League (AFL).
Prior to the deal, the rights were held by Telstra Live Pass. Subscribers to this service will be able to access NRL and AFL content via Kayo at a discounted rate, in addition to numerous other sports.
However, Telstra has retained its position as the title sponsor of the NRL, and will also continue to serve as sponsor of the Women’s Premiership for the remainder of a three-year contract signed in 2020.
