Genius Sports Limited has completed a data deal with American casino and sports betting provider, Caesars Entertainment.

Genius Sports will support the Caesars trading and sportsbook platform by providing access to official NFL products, including official live sports data feeds. In addition, the brand will become a programmatic advertising partner to Caesars Entertainment and supply its latest marketing technology.

The agreement further enhances Genius’ standing in the US sports betting space as a provider of NFL data, having been selected as one of the official betting partners of the league in April of this year.

The new extension of this existing arrangement will now see the NYSE-registered data and technology firm work to further Caesars NFL-related sportsbook products, by leveraging official data, next gen statistics and other offerings.

Genius Sports CEO, Mark Locke, said: “Our range of live sport, in-game betting products and media services will support Caesars’ acceleration of its U.S. market growth, through exciting new brand, acquisition and monetization opportunities.”

Caesars owns and operates one of the pre-eminent worldwide sports trading and betting platforms powered by data science and analytics, proprietary development, and a global team.

Furthermore, the firm’s most recent deal marks its second major agreement with a US sports betting operator, following on from its deal with DraftKings, which it also provides NFL data and content for.

Outside of the NFL, Genius Sports has expanded its connections in the association football space, launching a commercial engagement strategy for Colombia’s football governing body, DIMAYOR, in July.

Kenneth Fuchs, Head of Sports at Caesars Entertainment, commented: “We look forward to improving our NFL sportsbook offerings through this partnership by giving customers more engaging and exciting way to play.

“We know how exciting NFL betting is for our players and through our partnership with Genius, we can now provide bettors with the live NFL data they need to make wagers like a true Caesar.”
