Manchester City FC has announced a new partnership with 3Key which will see the decentralised finance (DeFi) trading analysis and advisory technology company become a regional partner of the team.

The collaboration sees the brand featuring across a number of club digital assets, as well as introducing a series of content activations and events held within the respective regions to further raise awareness of 3Key software and products.

Stephan Cieplik, Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships Sales, City Football Group, commented: “We are delighted to launch this partnership with 3KEY today.

“As a global organisation, Manchester City is continually looking for ways to further build the club’s presence in international markets and we are excited to partner with 3KEY in their journey to simplify the decentralised finance (DeFi) trading analysis user experience through the power of football to engage with our fans with a range of content and activations.”

3Key looks to provide ‘a suite’ of portfolio management tools, technology and products which aim to help educate customers and simplify their understanding of the DeFi space and market by using knowledge-based analytics to enhance user experience.

The company’s Chief Marketing Officer, Ryan S Hodder, added: “Today marks an important day as we announce this new partnership with Manchester City Football Club. We believe that practice, teamwork and passion are the foundations of success, and these values are in abundance at Manchester City.

“This partnership enables us to work together to create unique experiences for our clients, our communities and supporters around the world. Through these shared visions to drive change, we look forward to working together to raise awareness of the DeFi industry and take the 3KEY brand to the next level.”

Last week, the Premier League side also announced a new regional partnership with DreamSetGo as the latter became the club’s official football hospitality experiences partner in India.

The deal was a ‘first-of-its-kind’ within the country for the team, and from 2022, looks to utilise DreamSetGo to provide fans in India with bespoke, tailored  travel and matchday hospitality experiences at the Etihad Stadium.
