Bayern Munich has extended its deal with Supponor in order to boost more focused advertisements in gaining access to Supponor AIR – the company’s virtual ad solution.

The virtual advertising company will look to aid the club to target advertising campaigns regionally or by national market by using its modern technologies.

“The popularity of the Bundesliga and other competitions such as the Champions League have given FC Bayern Munich a truly global fanbase, and our ability to reach and activate those fans in their individual markets with virtual advertising technology has become a crucial benefit to our commercial partners,” commented Andreas Jung, Executive Board Member, FC Bayern Munich.

Using its virtually operated system, Supponor will allow the Bundesliga side to incorporate replacement advertising and place them virtually on any surface, and the company claims it is suitable in all weather conditions.

James B Gambrell, CEO, Supponor, added: “We are excited to extend our successful partnership, which reflects the flexibility Supponor offers when it comes to league-wide deployments or single club partnerships, driven by tailormade technical and business models, always looking for the solutions that best suit our partners.”

FC Barcelona has also seen deals with the company, along with other La Liga teams, which has allowed for sponsors to tailor their brand messages for different audiences – or for new sponsors to target relevant LaLiga audiences watching live broadcasts.
