Toulouse FC has announced a multi-year agreement which will see online betting and gaming platform Betway become an official sponsor of the team.
In collaboration with the Ligue 2 side, Super Group-owned Betway gains brand exposure around the Stadium de Toulouse on the LED boards and panels.
Olivier Jaubert, General Manager at Toulouse Football Club, commented: “We are very pleased and proud to have such an important player of the global betting industry being associated as a major sponsor to Toulouse Football club.
“This is a key milestone that Betway joins us on a multi-year agreement to support the growth of the club and be part of our ambitious journey. We are also very proud to be the first club chosen by Betway in France and we will work closely with them to offer the best activation and implementation of this partnership especially to all our fans.”
Furthemore, Betway will also have a presence on the players kit which has been promised for at least the next two years, whilst the partners will also deliver social media and digital content.
Anthony Werkman, CEO of Betway, added: “Having built one of the most exciting and enviable global sport sponsorship portfolios of any industry, we’re very proud to be announcing our first partnership in France, as we’ve signed a multi-year agreement with Toulouse FC.
“The club has a great history and has ambitions to get back into Ligue 1 and we look forward to supporting them on their journey.”
Tennis seems to have also been a focus of the brand in recent months, after becoming an official sponsor of the 2022 and 2023 editions of the Rio Open. It will gain further exposure through social media and digital platforms in partnership with the tournament, as well as create ‘engaging content’ for fans.
Similarly, the Stockholm Open also announced Betway as a sponsor not long prior, which commenced on 6 November following cancellation the previous year.
