The latest issue of SBC Leaders Magazine, number 20, is published this week with a brand new addition to the editorial format. A key new feature is the dedicated Canada section, in line with the magazine’s objective of pursuing news and developments in emerging markets.

The star interview of this edition is with David Flynn, Glitnor Group CEO, who reflects on this time in the online gambling space, and offers predictions on industry changes over the next 10 years.

Meanwhile, kickstarting the magazine is an interview with Shelley White, discussing her sports betting journey and how the Canada-based Responsible Gambling Council is taking the lead in establishing a collaborative approach to safer gambling standards.

Additionally, a North America focus saw SBC Leaders talk to Yahoo SportsJoanna Lambert who unpacks the potential of the New York market. IGT’s President of Sports Betting, Joe Asher, asks if sports betting is the next big opportunity for tribal operators.

Heading to Latin America, Hero Gaming’s Thomas Carvalhaes assesses the as yet unlocked potential of the Brazil market in advance of hotly anticipated moves to formalise a regulated gambling framework.

Casting its eyes to Europe, the magazine evaluates the sports betting situation in Holland, where as the last few years have shown, it has been a bumpy ride for the local gambling industry.

Peter-Paul de Goeij, MD of the Netherlands Online Gambling Association, explains more about the inherent potential in the market but warns it’s not for the faint of heart.

Physical copies of SBC Leaders will hit the newsstands at next week’s SBCCasinoBeats Summit in Malta and the magazine can be viewed online HERE.
