More than 250 industry’s brightest minds will gather at SBC Summit North America to discuss the main challenges in the North American region, the lessons learned during the previous years, and the rising importance of emerging tech and regulatory compliance.

The event takes place at the Meadowlands Exposition Center, New Jersey, July 12-14 and features eight conference tracks covering various gambling industry verticals and disciplines.

The ‘iGaming Americas’ track will give the floor to industry professionals to discuss the opening of more iGaming markets in North America, the Ontario gambling regulation, and the increasing need to build solid relationships with players, among other topics. Matt Sunderland (VP Gaming, BetMGM), Anika Howard (President & CEO, WONDR Nation), Oren Cohen Shwartz (CEO, Delasport), Chris Looney (CCO, Bragg Gaming Group), and Scott Vanderwel (CEO, PointsBet Canada) will be among the speakers.

The ‘Regulatory Round-up’ track will focus on understanding the technology drivers that impact licensing and regulation in Canada and how to maintain a healthy compliance status after the launch stage. Jim Brown (Head of Integrity Services & Harm Prevention, North America, Sportradar), Peter Murray (Head of Gaming, Veriff), Avi Howard (CEO, USAbility), Chantal Cipriano (VP of Legal, Compliance & People, PointsBet Canada), and Cameron B. Conn (CEO, OneComply) will be among the panellists.

The ‘Payments’ track will focus the discussion on providing a frictionless payment experience and discuss the power of personalization and the role of AI in creating the optimal customer journey. Craig McDonald (Chief Business Officer, Trustly), Sina Miri (SVP Digital Transformation, Bally’s Interactive), Christopher Granger (Lottery & Gaming Lead, Visa Inc.) and Greg Kirstein (VP of Business Development, North America iGaming, Paysafe) will be among the speakers.

The ‘Converging Worlds’ track will focus on what betting operators can learn from established digital-first customer-centric industries, and identify the areas for cross-industry collaboration. Jeff Yabuki (Chairman of the Board, Sportradar), Ken Fuchs (Head of Sports, Caesars Entertainment), Paul Burns (President & CEO, Canadian Gaming Association), Bryan Bennett (COO, Betfred USA Sports) and Katie Lever (Chief Legal Officer, Lottery.com) will be among the key speakers. 


The ‘Sports Betting Product’ track will focus on daily fantasy sports, the rise of women’s sports, the opportunity of betting on eSports and how betting can become more social and less complicated. The expert speaker line-up features Jay Croucher (Head of Trading, PointsBet USA), Christian Stuart (CEO, BetMakers North America), and Lexi Janson (Director of Sportsbook Promotions, Draftkings).

The ‘Engagement/Marketing’ track will examine the impact of social media, influencer versus affiliate marketing and educate operators on increasing conversion rates for affiliate networks. Jesper Soegaard (CEO & Co-founder, Better Collective), Max Bichsel (VP of US Sales, gambling.com), Michael Daly (CEO, Catena Media), Sharon Otterman (CMO, Caesars Sports and Online Gaming, Caesars Entertainment) and Noam Klivitzky (VP US Marketing, 888holdings) have confirmed as speakers.

The ‘Capital & Growth’ track will examine the Mergers & Acquisitions activities, the most fertile verticals in North American sports betting and offer practical advice on accelerating growth. The speakers include Adi Dhandhania (COO, North America, Interactive, Bally’s Corporation), Barry Jonas (Managing Director, Truist Securities), Stacie Whisonant (Founder, allBet), and Tom Waterhouse (Chief Investment Officer, Waterhouse VC).
