Esports organisation TSM has announced that Stephan Cieplik has joined the group as Chief Revenue Officer.

The new hire – an executive in sports marketing and success-driven sports commercial strategist – will lead initiatives for TSM’s championship esports teams, players and influencers.

Furthermore, Cieplik brings to TSM two decades of dedicated experience in the global sports industry, having contributed to the growth of global organisations such as City Football Group, Manchester City Football Club, Total Sports Asia and the Asian Football Confederation.

“I am thrilled to join TSM, a world-recognised leader and one of the highest-valued orgs in esports, and utilise my knowledge and experience in the sport of the future,” said Cieplik on his new role.

“The leadership team at TSM has impressed me with their vision to become the most entertaining, competitive, and successful esports organisation in the world.

“I am confident in my commitment to accelerate TSM’s growth ambitions by building and leading a dynamic, high-performing commercial operations division with industry-leading, innovative, and audience-engaging approaches to deliver future success to new heights.”

Additionally, under his leadership, he has been responsible for over $1.15bn in revenue, and has a ‘proven track record’ of building successful commercial teams and structures, the firm explained.

Walter Wang, COO of TSM, added: “Stephan’s global expertise and proven record in building revenue growth aligns with our strategies as we move forward.

“We could not be happier to welcome his leadership, insight, and unique perspective to TSM’s executive team.”
