New league names confirmed in two-season sponsorship agreement
Soft2Bet has signed a two-season sponsorship agreement with the Danish Divisionsforeningen, becoming the new title sponsor of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd divisions of Danish football from the 2025/26 season.
Announced on June 10, the agreement will see the leagues renamed for the first time in Danish football history. From next season, the 1st Division will be called the Betinia Liga, while the 2nd and 3rd divisions will be known as the CampoBet 2. Division and CampoBet 3. Division respectively.
According to a press release published by Soft2Bet, the sponsorship is intended to support the long-term growth of Danish football, particularly at the community and grassroots level.
The deal is not limited to naming rights. Soft2Bet has stated that it will also support local football initiatives, with a focus on talent development, fan engagement and youth participation.
“This is more than a commercial partnership,” said a Soft2Bet spokesperson in the announcement. “It is part of a wider strategy to invest in local sport and community outreach.”
Soft2Bet, an iGaming company with a growing presence in Europe, operates the Betinia and CampoBet brands across regulated markets.
The Danish Divisionsforeningen, which organises the three leagues, said the deal will help promote lower-tier clubs and bring more visibility to players outside the top division.
Further details about planned fan engagement campaigns and community programmes are expected to be released ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The partnership will run through the end of the 2026/27 season.
