Grand National Festival extends relationship with Betway

Ahead of this weekend’s event, Betway has announced it will continue as the ‘official betting partner’ of the ‘Randox Health Grand National Festival’ for a further five years.

The online bookmaker commenced its betting partnership with Aintree back in 2017, becoming Betway’s biggest racing commitment in the bookmaker’s extensive sponsorship portfolio.

Anthony Werkman, Betway CEO, commented: “The Randox Health Grand National Festival is a fantastic event and we couldn’t be happier with how the last two years have gone. The racing over the three days is of the highest quality and we’re delighted to be continuing our involvement for a further five years.

“With massive crowds on the racecourse and a huge TV audience, the National meeting is one of the biggest occasions in the sporting calendar and one that we are proud to be a part of.”

Races sponsored by Betway include the Betway Bowl, Betway Aintree Hurdle, Betway Top Novices’ Hurdle, Betway Mildmay Novices’ Chase, Betway Mersey Novices’ Hurdle and the Betway Handicap Chase, all of which are aired live on ITV (4-6 April. ).

For the 2019 Festival, Betway will host exclusive in-depth content on the Grand National, detailing rider and trainer insights. Betway’s first video features champion jockey Richard Johnson reflect on ’20-years of Aintree hurt’.
