Crystal Palace Football Club has extended its partnership with Utilita Energy which will see the firm remain the front-of-shirt sponsor for the club’s junior and academy kits.

For the third consecutive season all 2020/21 junior and academy replica kits will feature Utilita Energy’s logo. Moreover the energy supplier’s logo will be used for all of the club’s academy teams.

Utilita Energy’s partnership with the Premier League side goes beyond its academy structure, with the firm also being the shirt sponsor of Crystal Palace Women for the last four seasons. The deal is set to run until at the end of the upcoming campaign.

Steve Parish, Crystal Palace Chairman, stated: “I am delighted to continue our fantastic partnership with Utilita Energy, who have had a wonderful relationship with the club for four years now.

“Their support of the Women’s team, Academy and south London community in recent years has been a credit to them as a business and I look forward to continuing working in partnership.”

Crystal Palace’s main front-of-shirt sponsor, W88, will not appear on any junior or academy shirts due to laws in the UK  banning gambling firms from being present on underage kits.

Utilita’s Chief Marketing Officer, Jem Maidment, commented: “This will be our fifth consecutive season backing the Eagles – a club with a proud tradition and a tremendously loyal fanbase. The relationship between Utilita and Palace continues to grow and we are thrilled to support the club across many different areas, whether it’s the Marathon March, CPFC Women or the Academy partnership.

“At Utilita, one of our main goals is to engage with communities – the Academy partnership in particular is an affiliation we take great pride in when speaking to these communities in south London and beyond.”

This is not Utilita Energy’s only football partnership this season with the firm also having a similar agreement with SPFL side Rangers. As a result of the agreement the energy suppliers logo is present on the front of Rangers’ girls academy team’s shirts whilst also being present on all junior retail kits. Additionally Utilita Energy’ have a back-of-shirt partnership for the Rangers women’s team kit.
