Tottenham Hotspur has named Libertex as the Premier League club’s official trading partner with the deal looking to ‘showcase the progressive outlooks and commitment’ made by both entities.
Spurred by the trading platform’s ‘Trade For More’ motto, the partnership will allow Libertex expand its reach to more of an international fanbase by being associated with the club. In turn, the firm will provide a variety of fan engagement opportunities including creating exclusive events and premium matchday experiences at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, when fans can safely return to stadia.
Fran Jones, Head of Partnerships, Tottenham Hotspur, stated: “At Tottenham Hotspur, technology and innovation is key to everything we do and we are excited to partner with Libertex, an organisation that shares this commitment through its own products and services.”
As a result of the deal, Libertex will gain a presence across the club’s digital and social media channels. Moreover the trading platform will be featured on the LED perimeter advertising system on match days.
On the partnership, Marios Chailis, Chief Marketing Officer, Libertex, added: ‘‘Libertex could not be happier to partner with a team whose values echo our own so perfectly. Through this multi-year partnership, we’re thrilled to join the worlds of football and trading in the form of many exciting benefits for our clients and look forward to cheering on Spurs when they return to the pitch.’’
The partnership continues to develop Tottenham’s commercial portfolio ahead of its Premier league season opener against Everton on Sunday September 13. Libertex has joined the likes of AIA Group Limited, Cadbury, HSBC and Kumho Tyre as official partners of the club.
