MLB and Bally’s ink new multi-year partnership agreement

Major League Baseball (MLB) has chosen casino operator Bally’s Corporation as its official sports betting partner in a multi-year tie-up.

Through the agreement, Bally’s will gain access to official MLB league and team marks, logo and data, to be featured on the gambling company’s suite of sports betting products and offering.

Furthermore, Bally’s will integrate the assets into its live coverage of the MLB across Fox’s former 19 regional sports networks (RSNs) which are set to relaunch under the casino operator’s brand at the end of the month following a naming rights agreement with the Sinclair Broadcast Group.

Kenny Gersh, Executive Vice President of Business Development at MLB, stated: “As we prepare for the start of the 2021 season, working with Bally’s will present our fans with yet another unique avenue to engage with baseball.

“Bally’s knows how to provide added entertainment for sports fans across the country, so we look forward to collaborating on new ways of engaging fans around our games.”

Bally’s, which locked down deals with other major US sports leagues, including the National Hockey League (NHL) and the National Basketball Association (NBA), will also become an authorised gaming operator of MLB.

Other authorised gaming operators of the league include Fox Bet, FanDuel, DraftKings and MGM Resorts.

“The agreement between Bally’s and MLB offers exciting benefits for baseball fans nationwide,” said George Papanier, Bally’s President and Chief Executive.

“We are honoured to have the opportunity to put the Bally’s stamp on America’s national pastime and look forward to providing an innovative and engaging sports betting experience.”

Placing an emphasis on integrity, Bally’s and MLB will also cooperate on best-in-class practices to safeguard the sport.
