The Asia Cup 2022 has collaborated with DP World as the latter becomes the title sponsor of the six-nation tournament.
Renamed to the DP World Asia Cup, the 15th edition of the men’s tournament will be played across Dubai and Sharjah from 27 August – 11 September 2022.
Jay Shah, President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), commented: “We are happy to have DP World as title sponsor of the Asia Cup 2022. The Asia Cup is a prestigious event and the participation of a respected partner like DP World is welcome.”
The first match will see Sri Lanka take on Afghanistan meanwhile the finals will be played on 11 September at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
The end-to-end logistics solutions company sponsors the tournament as it enters its fourth time being held in UAE.
