eBay has become the official marketplace of Inter Milan in a partnership that spans the 2022/23 and 2023/24 football seasons.

The agreement with the American multinational e-commerce company is said to place ‘high importance’ on Nerazzurri fans, and includes the launch of an online store on eBay.it.

Alessandro Antonello, CEO Corporate at Inter Milan, said: “We are very happy to announce this new partnership with eBay, which brings together two global brands that are leaders in their respective fields.

“This agreement is of strategic importance for us because it allows us to broaden our fans’ online shopping experience thanks to a dedicated Inter Store on the marketplace, as well as to further boost our reputation as an innovative club.”

Supporters will be able to purchase original products of the Serie A team. The agreement also includes various marketing and communication activities that will take place and involve Inter fans throughout the season.

The pair have assured that the deal involves ‘innovative spirit, inclusivity and a strong focus on a global community of fans and their stories’.

“This partnership with Inter allows us to strengthen the close relationship we have with our community as we continue to support its interests,” added Alice Acciarri, General Manager di eBay Italia.

“Through this agreement, we’ll consolidate our position in the world of football and further establish ourselves as a point of reference for the passions of Italians.”

Similarly, last month AC Milan also confirmed a partnership with eBay, which saw the firm become the official marketplace of the Rossoneri.

The deal saw the opening of the AC Milan store on eBay.it, where fans are now able to access what was described as an ‘exclusive experience’ that will allow them to purchase original team merchandise.
