FC Barcelona has enhanced its regional partnership with Korean lubricant company, SK Enmove, through to the 2023/24 season.

With the pair originally linking up in 2018, the new agreement sees the company become the club’s official engine oil or official lubricant in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain – in addition to the existing territories.

“The expansion of the partnership between FC Barcelona and SK Enmove underscores the success in the regions under the original contract and Barça’s role in driving SK ZIC’s growth and brand awareness in key strategic markets around the world,” the club published in a statement.

The collaboration was managed from the club’s Asia Pacific regional headquarters in Hong Kong.

As the club’s first Korean partner, the original deal with SK Enmove covered countries such as South Korea, China, Vietnam and Thailand, later expanding into Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, plus others.

Over the past three football seasons, the firm has developed co-branded products featuring first team players of the La Liga club, as well as boosted brand awareness and driven sales through barca-related collaborated content and localised initiatives.

SK Enmove also published content in local languages on Facebook, Weibo and WeChat as the top-flight team prioritises providing localised and relevant content to fans globally.

In recent months, Barça also signed a deal with gluten free food brand, ZENB, which similarly became the club’s latest regional partner for the next four years.

The brand is the first to be the official gluten free food partner of the club until June 2026, whilst the pair now collaborate on joint activations across Japan, the USA and the UK.
