The Australian Open has extended its Chemist Warehouse partnership by a further three years.

The organisation has outlined the shared focus on ‘fitness, family and wellbeing’ that it has with the pharmacy retailer.

Cedric Cornelis, Tennis Australia’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We know our tennis fans will be grateful to have a convenient pop-up Chemist Warehouse store on site during the AO to ensure they have everything they need for a fun-filled day at the tennis.”

Additionally, the company is set to have a pop-up store on-site throughout the competition when it kicks off the year’s global tennis calendar.

The store will open on Kids Tennis Day on 14 January and then every day for the duration of the tournament from 16 – 29 January displaying beauty, lifestyle and wellness products.

“At Chemist Warehouse we are excited to continue our partnership with the Australian Open for an additional three years,” added Mario Tascone, Chemist Warehouse Director. “The Australian Open is the epitome of sportsmanship, spirit, family and wellbeing and perfectly aligns with our brand values and company ethos at Chemist Warehouse.

“Over the past three years, we have seen great success in our partnership, and we cannot wait to work together and continue this union over the next three years. Bring on a huge 2023 tournament!”

Shareable photos will also be available in the store where fans can take images of themselves signing the match broadcast screen.
