IMG has confirms the appointments of Sally Brown and Steve Rudge to lead the development of its multisport content production unit for its global sports portfolio.

Announced in the ‘newly created roles’, Brown and Rudge will serve as Vice Presidents and Co-Heads of Multisport Content.

“The pair will also be responsible for driving business development and new commercial opportunities, leveraging key strategic areas within IMG across digital, sales, data, and technology,” IMG informed the media.

The joint remit will see Brown and Rudge oversee IMG’s production development for integral partnerships with the UFC, EuroLeague, Super League Rugby, World’s Strongest Man, World Championship Snooker, and Grand Slam Tennis.

Brown most recently served as Executive Producer and Commissioning Editor for BT Sport Films and will be based at IMG’s Stockley Park studios and offices in London. Her production credits include the Irish rugby film ‘Shoulder to Shoulder’, motorsport documentary ‘True Grit’, and ‘Meatball Molly’, which explores the remarkable rise of Molly McCann – the first English woman to win a UFC fight.

Rudge will join Brown in October, finishing his tenure as Head of Football Content for BBC Sports. An experienced producer of sports content, Rudge has delivered the BBC’s coverage of major football tournaments, including overseeing the BAFTA award-winning productions of the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the record-breaking 2022 UEFA Women’s Euros.

Working at IMG’s Stockley Park studios, the duo will lead development for IMG commissioned shows such as the MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, CBS’ UEFA Champions League and Europa League coverage, DP World Tour, The Ryder Cup, and ATP Tour.
