The British Basketball League (BBL) has announced a “ground-breaking partnership” with New England Sports Network (NESN).
The broadcast deal aims to extend the global reach of British basketball and provide sports fans in the New England region with access to the sport for the 2023-24 season.
NESN will broadcast BBL games to six New England states. Viewers can tune-in to two live games per week, airing one on Thursdays and one on Fridays, alongside a brand-new magazine show, ‘UNBEATABLE’.
Fans can also watch games on various platforms, including NESN, NESN+, NESN National, and NESN 360.
The BBL hopes this partnership signifies a significant step forward as it continues to expand its global footprint.
BBL Chief Executive Officer, Aaron Radin, said: “New England has some of the most dedicated sports fans on the planet. This deal with NESN and the British Basketball League will bring international competition to their fingertips and will give us the privilege of welcoming these fans into the fold of British basketball.
“As the CEO of the league, and as an American, I am profoundly excited about the potential these collaborations hold, not only for our players and teams but for basketball fans worldwide.”
