Manchester City has announced a new multi-year partnership with C.P. Company, making the Italian fashion brand the club’s official style fashionwear partner.
Under the agreement, C.P. Company will create an exclusive line of fashionwear exclusively for Manchester City’s men’s first team players, coaching staff and executive management. This range will be worn specifically during UEFA Champions League away fixtures, as well as several other matches.
Additionally, throughout the partnership, C.P. Company will also contribute to City in the Community’s (CITC) Healthy Goals programme. As part of this initiative, the brand will fund the renovation of three community and school pitches.
Lorenzo Osti, President of C.P. Company, commented: “Our partnership represents an exciting journey from Bologna to Manchester, where two visions, inspired by the same values, harmoniously merge.
“The aesthetic symbolism of the C.P. Company Goggle Jacket has become an icon for football fans, a project where sporting aspiration embraces and keeps its roots alive.”
Manchester City published a video across its social media channels to promote the launch of the partnership.
Kaitlyn Beale, Vice President Global Partnership Sales at City Football Group, said: “We’re pleased to announce a new partnership with C.P. Company today.
“Both Manchester City and the Italian brand play a key role in football culture in the UK and beyond, with passionate followers and a shared commitment to embracing new trends and innovation.
“We’re looking forward to working with C.P. Company over the coming seasons.”
This isn’t the first clothing centred agreement the Premier League club has announced this year. Last month, City revealed plans with the WWE to release a collection of merchandise ahead of the club’s US pre-season tour.
