La Liga has named Luckia as its gaming and entertainment sponsor in a three-year deal that will see the gambling firm promoted across the Spanish top-flight’s international markets.
Luckia will gain additional visibility in Spain and the Latin American market – in particular Mexico, where La Liga has a significant presence.
The sponsorship will start ahead of the upcoming 2024/25 season with Luckia branding featuring prominently and promoted by “ambassadors, exclusive official merchandising, ticketing, and more, through their online and retail channels, in full compliance with the regulations of Spain and Mexico”.
Further brand activations will see Luckia promoted through La Liga’s digital assets, including La Liga EA Sports competitions and new Hypermotion rights for both countries.
Jorge de la Vega, CEO of La Liga, stated: “We are convinced this collaboration will bring us even closer to our followers in Spain and Mexico, and together, we will continue to create a safe and responsible entertainment environment.”
Luckia will begin its largest sponsorship commitment, joining La Liga’s international roster of sponsors, which includes Microsoft, El Corte Inglés, Mahou, and Puma.
Furthermore, the La Liga sponsorship agreement affords Luckia the ability to tap into La Liga’s digital audience of over 200 million followers across multiple social media platforms which is supported by more than 20 languages.
José González, President of Luckia, added: “This agreement reinforces Luckia’s commitment to sports and the promotion of values such as teamwork, perseverance, and excellence, which are typical of football.”
