UK-based sports content and media company Spotlight Sports Group has rebranded its content platforms under the name ‘Halo Content Destinations’.
The company is branding its content platforms as an ‘ideal solution’ for rights holders, sports media organisations, affiliates and operators seeking to leverage sports content.
Halo platforms feature sports content in a range of languages and are targeted towards the sports, betting and fantasy sports sectors. The platforms have focused chiefly on football and horse racing throughout Spotlight’s offering of them.
Sam Houlding, Director of B2B for Spotlight Sports Group, said: “Content has become a non-negotiable for operators, affiliates and rights holders in the current climate and with the rebrand of our unique content destination offering to Halo, we want to put our name at the forefront of that conversation.
“With capabilities in any language, across multiple sports, SEO tools and access to quality sports data feeds, Halo Content Destinations is an all-in-one solution for anyone looking to increase fan engagement or monetise their offering via subscriptions or sports betting.”
Content is one of Spotlight Sports Group’s flagship areas of business, offering content services to betting firms and media outlets, and is also the owner of the Racing Post horse racing newspaper.
The firm’s online content hubs, meanwhile, have been leveraged by the likes of William Hill and Sky Bet. Hubs have been created for prominent horse racing fixtures like the Cheltenham Festival and football tournaments like this year’s European Championships.
Eliot Crist, CEO of Matthew Berry’s Fantasy Life, added: “We talked with the team at Spotlight Sports Group and were able to get a site up within 45 days and immediately started to deliver value to the end user. From there we were able to build tools that our users were seeking to keep them on our platform.”
