The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) has named Uber Eats as its official food delivery partner for the remainder of the year to create new engaging opportunities for darts fans across the UK.

The partnership began during the Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts, with UberEats receiving brand exposure at the event’s final on 17 November.

Central to the partnership is a range of fan engagement activities Uber Eats will be facilitating in-person and at events across the wider UK Midlands region, utilising the PDC’s digital channels and leveraging the online food delivery’s restaurant partners.

PDC players – including World Grand Prix winner Mike De Decker and European Champion Ritchie Edhouse – have paid visits to Uber Eats’ restaurants in the region throughout last week providing fan experiences to meet the players and compete against them in a game of darts.

PDC Chief Executive, Matt Porter, said: “We are delighted to welcome Uber Eats as our Official Food Delivery Partner.

“It’s great to work with such a globally iconic brand to help them achieve their objectives of engaging with PDC fans right across the UK and we are excited to see how this could grow across further events in the future.

It has been a record-breaking 12 months for the sport and we’re excited to continue building on that success with Uber Eats.”

Following the Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts, the partnership is set to reach new regions and darts fans across the UK and Ireland throughout the 2025 PDC season.

Other world ranked darts players are set to take part in UberEats’ fan engagement campaign during the PDC Premier League, which may include reigning champion Luke Littler, as well as Michael Van Gerwen and Luke Humphries

Jon Blundell, Senior Commercial Operations Manager for Uber Eats, added: “We’re incredibly excited to partner with the Professional Darts Corporation as the Official Food Delivery Partner for two of the biggest tournaments across the UK & Ireland.

“This partnership offers a unique opportunity to bring the excitement of the PDC to fans nationwide while showcasing the fantastic selection of local restaurants available on Uber Eats.

“We’re proud to play a role in enhancing the experience for darts fans by bringing them closer to the best of local food around the events whilst continuing to support our fantastic restaurant & grocery partners.”
