Wakefield Trinity’s mobile website was reportedly compromised earlier this week, redirecting users to Bento4D, an online Indonesian casino platform.

On July 30, a supporter using the X handle @stegibbs6 flagged the issue, tagging the club and asking, “@WTrinityRL website been hacked lads?”

Screenshots shared by the user showed the site’s name replaced with Bento4D, along with a promotional message in Indonesian.

The promotional message read: “Bento4D merupakan situs toto togel & slot 4D gacor terpercaya dengan RTP slot tertinggi. Daftar gratis & nikmati jackpot setiap hari tanpa hambtan!”

In English: “Bento4D is a trusted site for 4D lottery and slots with the highest slot RTP. Register for free and enjoy jackpots every day without obstacles!”

A second screenshot revealed the casino site loading in place of Wakefield’s homepage when accessed via mobile.

Later that day, another user shared a screenshot appearing to show Wakefield Trinity’s response:

“We’re aware of an issue currently affecting the mobile version of our website and are working to fix it as quickly as possible.”

Insider Sport has been unable to locate any such message on Wakefield’s official channels, suggesting the post may have been deleted or misattributed. However, a quote tweet from @Six_Again, commending @stegibbs6’s catch, remains visible, while the original Wakefield post it references appears to have been removed.

It’s unclear what level of breach occurred or whether user data was impacted. No further statements have been made by the club, though the site now appears to be functioning normally.
