Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), the owners of Lord’s Cricket Ground has announced a five-year sponsorship extension with Marston’s Beer Company.

This new agreement affirms the strong partnership between the duo and marks the continuation of a ten-year relationship that began in 2008 to supply all ales, beers, lagers, stouts and ciders to every bar at the iconic home of cricket in London.

Andy Muggleton, Assistant Secretary (Commercial) MCC commented on the deal: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Marston’s as the sole supplier of premium cask and craft beers at Lord’s. Our relationship extends beyond supply, into a wider partnership that MCC & Marston’s leverage through their association with each other, meaning we can continue to deliver exceptional service and experiences for the fans coming to Lord’s.”

As the Official Beer of Lord’s, Marston’s beer brands, Pedigree and 61 Deep will feature on draught in every bar and will be seen around the ground across 28 hoardings.

Simon Barnes, Marston’s Free Trade Sales Director added on the extension: “The renewal of our supply and sponsorship agreement for a further five years is testament to the incredible team effort that goes into providing a complete end-to-end service for this special venue. Alongside our extensive portfolio of beers and ciders, we provide bespoke telesales, dray and cellar services.”

Alongside the in-ground presence of Marston’s, the sponsorship deal includes a number of much sought-after match tickets to promote the club’s links with beer fans.
